At first glance, this photoshoot may have appeared to be a straightforward task, with no splashes, textures and multidimensional setups. However, as is often the case, there was a catch. The museum has its own set of rules and regulations that had to be taken into consideration during the shooting process. This added an extra layer of challenge to this project with rare and expensive items because some objects had to be captured in their display locations, such as the Vrubel fireplace, which could not be moved to a studio. Despite these challenges, the photoshoot was still an exciting and unique experience.
